Cairo bombing

The recent bombing in Cairo wounded a few tourists and killed a French girl. Even though authorities don't think that France was targeted, a French newspaper reported that the French tourists were followed and specifically targeted, wrote the Middle East Times. The reason being the participation of France in blocking the Gaza coast.
What do you think, was France targeted?

I don't see where is the connection, first of all, few days later an American tourist was wounded by a knife in the area. I think it is a domestic issue that has nothing to do with Gaza or any other out of borders subject. and yes it is a set back for security, but exaggerating it is not going to solve it
